Demon Slayer Corp Website
Demon Slayer Corps is a creative practice project I built to explore the power of GSAP and Lenis animations inside a React environment. Inspired by the world of Demon Slayer, I imagined a mock website for a “real-world” demon-hunting corporation — a place where clients could (theoretically) hire slayers for protection. The project wasn't meant to be functional, but rather a playground to push my animation and design skills further — and it turned out to be one of my most visually dynamic creations so far.
Design & UI
I wanted the site to feel cinematic, energetic, and immersive — like a hero's recruitment page from the anime universe. The scroll experience is powered by Lenis, making transitions fluid and immersive. GSAP brings the visuals to life with staggered entrances, parallax effects, and motion reveals that sync beautifully with scrolling. The color palette and layout draw inspiration from the anime's tone — dark, bold, and intense, balanced with clean typography for a modern web feel. The result is a fully animated experience that feels alive as you move through it — equal parts design experiment and storytelling showcase.

Development Journey
I created this project purely to practice advanced animation workflows, and it turned into a fantastic learning journey. Working with GSAP and Lenis together helped me understand smooth scroll control, animation sequencing, and performance optimization in React. Although the site is fictional, it's a strong example of how motion can shape storytelling and elevate a web experience. I even plan to expand it later with a “fake hire” cart system — just for fun and interactivity!
Reflection
Demon Slayer Corps reminded me that development can be both technical and creative art. It's a project where I could experiment freely, make mistakes, and learn by doing — all while having a great time crafting something inspired by one of my favorite anime series. This one is all about movement, style, and experimentation — and it taught me how powerful animation can be when paired with thoughtful design.
